Franklin Roosevelt's involvement in the WW2
Franklin D Roosevelt was the president of the United States during the World War II. First the United States decided to remain out of the war and be isolationist. Even when US was not actually fighting the war United States was providing the war supplies to its allies. In 1940, when japan was rushing through Asia and Germany won the battle with France. Later japan came to attack the Indonesia and the US battle ships defended Indonesia and US cut off all the trades with Japan which made japan furious. As a result in December 7th of the year 1941, Japan attacked the Perl Harbor, Hawaii causing the death of thousands of men and destruction of hundreds of battle ships and planes . This event then led the United States to enter the World War II. Roosevelt exercised his power as the commander in chief of the military. He worked on wartime strategies. Roosevelt also moved on to create a big alliance that included every country fighting the Axis powers. They called it the "Declaration of United Nations" on January 1, 1942. Later they planned an invasion in Europe. By April of 1945 the victory was certain. Later in April 12, 1945, he said at the age of 63. He lived a great life and led the US nicely through the World War II.
